Abundance is a series of lasercut wooden pieces that play with form, imagery, and texture. I first designed the drawings on my tablet, then transferred them to a lasercutting machine on small 1-inch thick wood pieces. Each image represents forms of abundance, with the quote “abundance arrives when the nervous system stops preparing for loss” - a quote I found on social media. My last name is also displayed across images of goats and flowers, which symbolize growth and shedding.
